Crashes immediately when starting CarPlay

I have a 2017 Chevy Bolt and I’m trying to open the app in CarPlay. Every time I do it immediately crashes. I have restarted the phone, restarted the app, reinstalled the app, and restarted the car. I also have a 2022 iPhone SE any ideas?

    I can confirm that this is a bug on Apple side, according to their docs the functions we are calling since ABRP 5.5.0 are supported since iOS 12 when they were added with iOS 17.4.
    We will do a bugfix release soon so you can either wait for ABRP 5.5.1 or upgrade to iOS 18.1.

    Hi and thanks for reaching out to us. I found your crash on our bug reporting tool and will check it in detail tomorrow morning. From what I can see it crashes when starting the navigation on CarPlay. I also see that you are running iOS 17.3.1 while iOS 18.1.1 is available, would you mind updating and double check if it still crashes?
