Cost-Optimized Routing: Suggesting the Cheapest Charging Network & Subscriptions

Currently, ABRP is fantastic at getting us to our destination efficiently. However, with the highly fragmented pricing of EV charging networks, it would be a game-changer if ABRP could also calculate the most cost-efficient route based on available charging networks and subscriptions.

The Feature Idea:

• Network Suggestions: Before or during route planning, ABRP suggests which charging network (or combination) would be the cheapest for this specific trip.

• Subscription ROI Calculator: ABRP could analyze the trip and say: "If you subscribe to the Ionity Passport / EnBW / Tesla Membership for this trip, you will save €25 overall, even after the subscription fee."

The Business Opportunity for ABRP:

ABRP could monetize this feature by using affiliate links for these charging memberships. When ABRP suggests a membership that saves the user money, the user can click a link to subscribe directly, and ABRP earns a referral commission. It's a win-win: users save money on their road trips, and ABRP creates a new, sustainable revenue stream.
