Tesla Ref Consumption badly calculated

Hello I again have an issue with the calculated consumption. For my model 3 SR+ 2021 it should be hovering around 145/160Wh/km. Now it’s about 240Wh/km. I noticed that the live power meter always indicates positive value, even during regeneration. It should show a minus sign. I guess the error is there. Thanks for the correction…. Best Fabrice

    Hi @theomanu24,

    We discovered an issue yesterday; Tesla Ref Consumption badly calculated which we’ve had corrected since.

    The “bad” data will be rolled out when ABRP is being fed fresh data and the calibration will be corrected but if you want you can instead reset the calibration process in vehicle settings.

    Hi @fabricegiaume,

    Thanks for reporting. We recently discovered an issue with us incorrectly handling the reported speed from Tesla, which resulted in incorrectly calculated reference consumption values.

    We’ve now corrected the issue and it’ll now be correctly calculated. You can either set a better value manually in settings (and new data will replace the old faulty one gradually) or reset the calibration in vehicle settings.

    Thank you for the feedback! This is a bug which we just found where Tesla streaming data was not used for calibration. We are deploying a fix right now and the calibration should auto-correct for you.

    Same here! I have connected ABRP to tesla to get live data and the more i drive the more the reference consumption goes down.

    I don’t know if it is related, at some point a saw a button during the linking process to “start streaming” but I was not able to click on it because I got an error while linking with tesla. But then I was able to link with tesla but I didn’t see this button anymore even when doing unlink/link or reinstall app …
