Consistent route planning issues around Yosemite

Routing around Yosemite National Park is buggy and has been wrong for multiple updates. The plan it recommends does not make any sense, there is no need at all to charge. The target destination is set to 10% and I am supposed to arrive with 37% after charging 15%. The math just does not add up. There are some elevation changes but by far not enough to justify having to charge before (especially pay attention to 40% at the intermediate goal).

For reference, I have completed this ver drive and had no issue whatsoever. The app is wrong. I have reported this before and it was not taken seriously. Can anyone help, please.
