Connecting to Smartcar stopped working

I had changed credentials to my BMW IX3 smartcar integration.
1) When trying to log-out from the live-connection I got ERROR. This could only be resolved by deleting the saved car.
2) Now it is no longer possible to add live data using Smartcar. I've tried in the IOS app and in several chromium-based browsers with no ad-block (edge + chrome). I can click on the button "Link ABRP Premium Connection", the "smartcar" popup opens and I click on "Connect with SmartCar". Then the page to SmartCar opens, and I can login successfully with my new credentials, and when I click "Allow" I'm returned to the app, - with the same "SmartCar"-popup still open… and no link. I can only close the popup. In the browser the behaviour is slightly different as clicking on "Allow" above a new browser window opens… but no link.
