Citroën ë-C3 (2025) – Incorrect battery temperature reported via direct OBD connection (always 33°C)
Hello ABRP Support Team,
I would like to report a possible issue with the OBD PID configuration for my 2025 Citroën ë-C3 Max, 44 kWh LFP battery.
I am using ABRP on Android 16 with an OBDLink CX Bluetooth adapter, updated to the latest firmware.
What works correctly:
Direct OBD connection to ABRP is stable.
Battery SoC matches the vehicle dashboard.
Battery voltage and odometer readings appear correct.
Live OBD data updates normally.
The issue:
ABRP consistently reports a battery temperature of 33°C, regardless of the conditions.
Using Car Scanner ELM OBD2 with the same adapter, I obtained the following readings:
BMS traction battery temperature: 23°C
Average battery temperature: 23°C
Individual battery temperature sensors: 23–24°C
Battery coolant temperature: 22°C
These readings were obtained after a home charging session. ABRP had also reported 33°C on previous occasions, in different conditions.
OBD PID configuration observed in ABRP:
Battery voltage:
22D510Telemetry key:
voltageEquation:
((A<<8)+B)/10Battery temperature:
22D4DFTelemetry key:
batt_tempEquation:
((A<<8)+B)/100
Interestingly, ABRP reports approximately 333–334 V and 33°C. The battery temperature therefore appears to be approximately one tenth of the voltage.
This may be coincidental, but it raises the possibility of an incorrect PID mapping, response decoding, or conversion formula. I have not modified the OBD PID configuration.
Could you please verify whether PID 22D4DF and its decoding formula are correct for the Citroën ë-C3?
I can provide screenshots of the ABRP PID configuration, live data and Car Scanner temperature readings if helpful.
Thank you for your assistance and for improving support for this vehicle.

Hello @ABRP User #3206758,
Have you been able to find other posts for the PID to the vehicle (in Reddit or similar sites) and where they have made changes in the temperature? Please provide the configurations for the PID now together with Car Scanner temp readings so we can make the comparisons ourselves. We will take a look at this and check which settings are supposed to work.
