Charging station details do not open in Android Auto – BYD Seal U EV

I use ABRP Premium with Android Auto in a BYD Seal U EV. Until about one month ago, tapping a charging-station icon on the vehicle screen opened a panel showing the charging network, maximum power, total connectors and available connectors.

Now, tapping any charging-station icon on the Android Auto screen produces no response. I tested dozens of stations from different charging networks. The issue occurs both with an active route and when no route is active.

Charging-station details still open normally in the ABRP phone app. Navigation and all other Android Auto functions work correctly. I am using the current stable release and I am not enrolled in the beta program. Clearing the ABRP app cache did not solve the problem.

Please investigate this Android Auto regression and provide information about a solution or upcoming fix.

    This is fixed now. Should be available with 7.1.8.

    Same thing on a Kia EV9. Plain Android Auto.

    Charger information on the map is not clickable and charger occupation information is incorrect via Android Auto.

    This is a major bug.

    Thank you for reporting! Do you have any possibility to test this in a different vehicle too?

    In any case, we have added this to our todo list and will work on fixing it.
