Dear ABRP Support Team,

I would like to report that no EV chargers are currently showing in Oman on the ABRP map. This makes it difficult to plan routes locally.

I understand you recommend adding chargers via external platforms, and I would like to highlight that chargers have already been added through EVO. However, they are still not visible in ABRP.

Kindly review the integration and ensure that chargers in Oman are synchronized, so EV drivers in the country can benefit from accurate and reliable route planning.

      I’ve checked the charger listing in OCM and found the following issues:

      1. No alternative has been selected for ‘Connection Type’ under ‘Equipment Details’

      2. No alternative has been selected for ‘Network/Operator’ under ‘Basic Charging Details’.

      I can see that it is currently not possible to select ‘EVO Oman’ in the dropdown list in OCM. When you see this, you’ll need to contact OCM to add it to their list.

      It is possible that issue no 1 is what is preventing the chargers from OCM from being listed in ABRP currently. Feel free to link more examples, and I can review them.

    Hi @Talal Al Busaidi,

    I can see that we list “Evo” as a network under Avoid and prefer. Are you not seeing their chargers in ABRP or is this a network with the same name just?

      I see EVO is a charging network in Germany. I am referring to a charging network in Oman

        Yes, charging networks in different countries can have the same name. We only display the name that the data source provides.

        Please clarify if you’re not seeing the chargers in ABRP or if you’re just missing the network in the list in settings: Avoid and prefer

            Ok, I could suggest reading: How to have new chargers added to ABRP

            As getting an official connection with the network could take a long time (sometimes it isn’t even technically possible) a first step would be to add them to openchargemap.org which we also import chargers from.

                Ok, but the same charger that you’re seeing in OSM isn’t visible in ABRP? Could you link me an example of this?

                    Sorry but the screenshots aren’t very helpful. Please provide a link to such a charger in OSM so that we get the exact ID.

                      Also, the point of the screenshot was to show that no chargers appear in ABRP in Oman. Where open charge map have them all configured

    Missing EVO Chargers in Oman on ABRP Map

    Request to Add EV Charging Stations in Oman to ABRP

    Dear ABRP Team,

    I hope you are well.

    I would like to request the addition of electric vehicle charging stations in Oman to the ABRP map. Currently, chargers from networks like Shell Recharge, EVO, and stations in shopping malls are not showing in the app.

    Adding these stations would help EV drivers in Oman plan their trips more accurately and confidently.
