Changing actual battery percentage

It is impossible to change the battery percentage while driving (by the passenger) on your phone nor on Android auto. Even when you replan the whole route (on your phone) and change the percentage there before plotting the new route, it still takes the previous percentage and therefor you are stuck in a loop and the long routes are plot incorrectly.
