CarPlay voice command shows chargers far away instead of nearby

Hello,

I have noticed a possible issue with the ABRP voice command on Apple CarPlay.

When I use ABRP on my iPhone and ask to show charging stations, it correctly displays charging stations near my current location.

However, when I use the same voice command through Apple CarPlay in my car, ABRP sometimes displays charging stations that are far away from my current location instead of nearby chargers.

The vehicle’s location itself appears to be correct, and the issue seems to affect specifically the “show charging stations” / nearby charger search through CarPlay.

Could this be related to CarPlay using a stale or incorrect location when processing the voice command?

I can provide screenshots, app version, iOS version, and additional details if needed.

    What happens if you try pressing the charger icon in CarPlay to get other chargers?

    Additionally, do you have examples of chargers that you know the voice command displayed and your location at the time?

    Send us a screenshot of the list from CarPlay and phone voice commands.

      Sure. I’ll test this and provide the screenshots you requested.

      I’ll check what happens when I tap the charger icon in CarPlay and whether it shows additional charging stations.

      I’ll also test the voice command on my iPhone and provide examples of the chargers that are displayed, together with my location at the time.

      I’ll send you:

      • A screenshot of the charging station list shown in CarPlay.

      • A screenshot of the results shown after using the voice command on the iPhone.

      • The name of the charging station and my location for each example.

      I’ll make sure to test the same location/chargers in both CarPlay and on the phone so the results can be compared directly.
