CarPlay Map Freezes For ~60 Seconds At A Time

Part way through a drive today, the CarPlay display stopped updating in real time. It looks like the update interval changed to around 60 seconds. I stayed that way for the rest of the trip. I used the bug report button at about 14:13 PDT (-07:00) on 5 July 2026. The response to the button was also laggy so I ended up sending two reports.

The video below shows the behavior, the first position update happens at about 0:30.

The photo below was made at the roundabout that is supposedly 0.6 miles ahead of me.

Where does this happen?

    What are the size constraints on videos? The video I attached showing the slow updates, didn’t appear. Could it have been too big? It was about 2:35 (m:ss) long.
