CarPlay lacks "Rotate" option in "Map Mode" menu

Using ABRP directly on iOS, you can select the mode to be “North” or “Rotate” it so that the red arrow is always going up. Once you connect to CarPlay, the “Map Mode” menu does not have “Rotate” as a selectable option.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi

    This setting are also in CarPlay. Click at the screen so you see the icons to the right. Click at the one in the bottom and you can change between North and Rotate.

      or me rotate is not an option.

      I only have:

      North, 3d perspective, next step, destination

      If u click north over and over it doesn’t toggle. There’s no “rotate”. The closest I can get is “3d perspective” as it has red arrow up, but is unfortunately perspective.

        When you click at North does the blue colour disappear from Next step button?

          Yes. When you cycle between the 4 options presented in CarPlay (3D Perspective, North, Next Step, Destination) each time the blue color disappears and moves to whatever you select.

          The difference between ABRP on the iPhone and ABRP on CarPlay is that the view on iPhone is you have the additional “Rotate” option.

          I noticed that if I leave it on “Destination” (which I can’t imagine driving the whole trip in this view), 30 seconds later it somehow automatically switches to where red arrow is up (how I want it). But, this was short lived as once i got on a longer straight with no turn, it then went back to the zoomed out “Destination” view.

          I suppose I just wonder why “Rotate” was not included in the view in CarPlay. I believe this would be a non-issue if it existed.

            I apologize for taking so long to respond. Apparently we haven't had the Rotate option in Carplay for several years and we will not add it.
