CarPlay is useless now

I have an iPhone 13pro running iOS 16.5 the vehicle is a 2023 vw id4 pro s awd using the cx adaptor. The issue is the nav will not follow the car. I have to zoom all the way out find where I am then zoom back in and even then it will not track the vehicle on the map. You have no button on screen to do this in car play. On the phone app it works. I paid a premium for feature that are useless. I paid for premium for live car data through smarter car. That is no longer an option and no other feature to replace it at least here in the us with vw. Now car play is useless I will not be renewing. At this point I feel like I am owed a refund bait and switch it what it feels like. I will wait for a response before I submit my review in the App Store, or share my experience online.
