CarPlay GPS position updates only intermittently (iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 26.6)

Hello ABRP Support,

I am experiencing an issue with ABRP while using Apple CarPlay.

Setup:

• ABRP Premium

• iPhone 14 Pro

• iOS 26.6

• Wired Apple CarPlay

• DS 3 E-Tense

• OBD adapter connected

• Using the built-in Mapbox navigation

Issue:
During navigation, the vehicle position is not updated continuously. Instead, the position freezes for several seconds (sometimes up to 20–60 seconds) and then suddenly jumps to the current location. This makes turn-by-turn navigation unreliable.

Additional observations:

• Apple Maps on the same iPhone and the same CarPlay connection works perfectly and updates the position smoothly.

• The issue only occurs with ABRP’s built-in Mapbox navigation.

• The problem occurs consistently during every drive.

• The OBD connection remains active and vehicle data appears to be received correctly.

Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue with the current iOS/CarPlay version? If required, I am happy to provide logs or perform additional tests.
