CarPlay feature causes head unit crash

I recently used a paid version of ABRP to a trip from Denver, Colorado to wahoo Nebraska. The particular bug I saw was when the app transitioned from driving to charging mode while connected to CarPlay.

It appears that the app doesn’t know how to render that mode from the device to CarPlay, causing the head unit to blank out and reboot. This happened on my 2025 Subaru Solterra during the trip and can consistently be replicated whenever you reach a charging point mapped out by ABRP. I was unable to grab any logs from the app as when the app crashed, It caused the logs to be lost.
