Carplay - Failure of secondary map display

Jaguar I-Pace MY24. Wireless Carplay connection. Works absolutely fine on main carplay screen, but the secondary map display in the instrument cluster is blank - both if there is a route selected or if there is not.

Can fix by selecting another map application such as apple maps which then displays its map in the cluster and then changing to ABRP. It then works fine.

It as is ABRP is not able to activate the sending to instrument cluster but other apps can.
