OK, so Apple strikes again. How about Android then?

Maybe you could add some “developer settings” for enhanced tweaking or introduce some secret cheat code for inofficial features. Thats what I do on my apps for stuff that Apple doesn’t like.

Alternatively:
I am sure you already looked at what Chargetime does. CT shows a list of upcoming charge stations and their distance based on a contuniously updated route to the destination - without giving directiosn, just updating the list in the background. But CT lacks SOC and the exact range estimation of ABRP so it also has its limitations.
But its great for people in densly populated areas with plenty of chargers to choose: Just drive and when battery is neraly empty look at the list and choose a HPC that suits.


Maybe this would be a nice feature for ABRP: ABRP Copilot mode. Basically no active routing (so not interfereing with Apple here). Instead ABRP just accepts the destination and shows a list of upcoming charge stations along the route (with distance to go, estimate SoC, nuber of free chargers). Once a charge station is selected ABRP cantake over the active turn-by-turn navigation.
Of course this has some limits as ABRP can’t exactly know the route the driver is going to take. But its a way to integrate with many earlier BEVs similar to the eGolf: Decent onboard navigation system with still recent maps and traffic information - but no reliable charge planning.

Also better for those who prefer other apps like google maps or waze or whatever for navigation purposes.
