In Volvo AAOS car postion does not update with real position

The actual position of my car is not reflecting the actual position.

In Volvo AAOS I’m loged in and if I press the circle icon (bottom right) the position shown is correct, but as soon as I start to plan a trip the software is taking a position somewhere the car has been a week ago. Login out and back in on the car is not solving this. TABPR on the car is in sync with the car as it show for instance the correct SOC%. Also loging in on the web-version it shows the wrong car position. This way it is fairly impossible to plan a route.

What is going wrong. can this be fixed?

    Thank you all for reporting this! We finally were able to reproduce this issue on the company Polestar 2 last week and could fix the bug. We will release ABRP 5.5.2 for Android Automotive as soon as possible, hopefully this week, which should solve the issue.

    I am also having this issue. I just realized it mid-travel. My blue dot is moving along the map but when I plan from “My position” it is starting from where I was over an hour ago (red arrow). It's definitely messing with the calculations and charging stop recommendations.

    I am using the latest update on Android directly on my phone. Not beta.

    Thank you for reporting! Could you try joining our beta program at

    https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.iternio.abrpapp (on the web) and try to install the 5.0.11 beta from the Play Store and see if it changes anything?

      Applied for beta status and installed the available update on AAOS, but the position of the car is still not determined correctly when you start planning a route.

      The currently installed beta of abrp is not detecting the car position and as a result useless on AAOS. AAOS even reported that it was taking up to much resources. I had to “kill” abrp and finally uninstalled it from AAOS. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
