Can't change settings of unsaved car

If I add a car and don't save it, I can't play around with the settings of it like reference consumption.

This car, which I have not saved, doesn't show the settings button in the corner to play with.

Funnily enough, if the open ABRP in the browser, where I don't have the beta, then I can do whatever I want, like change reference consumption, as I used to be able to.
