Unable to exit driving mode when going off route

Once a route is started on the iPhone (iOS 26.4.1, iPhone 13 Pro), it cannot be stopped. The corresponding button does not appear.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Please provide a screenshot of the view where the exit button is missing.

      This apparently happens when you are not actually on the route itself. Instead, it occurs when you select “from” and “to” locations that do not correspond to a position lying exactly on the route. And then you start the route guidance.

      To reproduce the issue: Reverse the route (“to” corresponds to your current location, but not on the road—for example, at home), then start the route. The “X” to end the route is then missing.
