Cannot Reset configuration in OBD PID editor
I am unable to reset the configuration in OBD PID editor. I have tried to delete everything in my configuration, but everytime I hit reset config it reloas all of the commands I entered previously. I have tried clearing cache data from the application, uninstalling, deleting my vehicle none of it works, when I go back to set up my vehicle it shows all of my commands.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

I have additional information related to this issue. I was trying to set a custom parameter for my subaru trailseeker and I ran across this error:
When configuring custom PIDs or connecting a generic BLE OBD-II adapter under the
subaru:trailseeker:26:67:dualvehicle profile, the direct BLE initialization sequence fails immediately. The app attempts to read initialization commands from an unparsed JavaScript object, throwing a type error and halting all further PID data-fetching commands.Steps to Reproduce:
Select vehicle model: Subaru Trailseeker (
subaru:trailseeker:26:67:dual).Go to Settings > Edit Settings > Advanced OBD settings > OBD PID editor.
Configure any OBD parameter and tap Test PIDs.
Log Output:
Plaintext
error writing init commands Error: could not get commands for type init from [object Object] subaru:trailseeker:26:67:dualExpected Result:
The client should retrieve valid string commands from the backend vehicle profile to complete the ELM327 initialization phase before sending data-fetching commands.
Actual Result:
The initialization script fails with
[object Object]parse failure, preventing any custom or native OBD PIDs from running.Nikola

Hello @ABRP User #2484553,
Is it possible for you to try from another device and see if there is an issue there also for you?

I loaded the ABRP app on my Pixel Tablet and the same thing happens when I “reset configuration” for the Subaru Solterra 2026 AWD all of the commands I entered previously are still there.
I have attached the behavior in a video:
