First thing I’ve tried to do after downloading the app on my phone. Have tried it there (Android) and in the web interface, same problem. I type in my home address, and for whatever reason the app doesn’t seem to recognize it (it gives me search results which are not my address, and refuses to accept the address I’ve typed).
That’s fine, no problem — I’ll just add it by the GPS location, which should be easy because I’m doing this at home. After much struggle with the UI I cannot find a way to add my home as a saved location, even though the app obviously knows exactly where I am via GPS.
I notice the app tells me I can save a location by “clicking on the desired location on the map”. Turns out this is simply false.
Tapping/clicking on the map does nothing. Tapping and HOLDING will drop a pin, but then there doesn’t not appear to be anything I can do with the dropped pin; I can’t save it as a destination.
Unless there’s some magic UI sequence that I’ve missed, this app has failed to do one of the most basic possible things, and has given a really terrible first impression.
