Cannot customize departure date or time

I planned a route and cannot change the date or time of departure on the initial trip waypoint (it is not home or current location). I tried in Chrome on Mac, Safari on Mac and iOS App. Clicking on the field does nothing. The placeholder text is the current date and time.
