Calculation of charging

With the Nissan Leaf, it is not calculating the charge throttling anywhere near accurately. Although it gets the usage fairly accurate once calibrated, it is not giving good time estimates (280 miles is approximately an hour plus out with charges taking twice as long). Is there a way to use the battery temperature to more accurately reflect the charing curve on passive cooled vehicles?
