BYD Atto 3 Battery Drain with Enode

Hi Team,

I have the following issue when i connected my BYD Atto 3 via Enode before a few days i noticed a about 2-3% drain in my car SoC each day, the car is parked and in idle with out any other app polling the car except from Enode or any 3rd party hardware accessory connected to it.

I then tried to find a way to disable the Enode polling data from the car when i parked but there is no option to do it. (Can we add the feature?) Or the option to set a longer polling interval.

So i went and disconnected Enode from ABRP app and the drain stopped totally after this action.

The issue is when i want to use again Enode during a trip i have to login all over again entering the credentials etc. which is a bit tricky.

We had an issue with another user where his energy provider also used Enode. Does this happen when you parked at your home or when you charge at home?

Hello!
The HV battery drain happens when the car is parked at home and is idle. I charge at my workplace, so i don’t have a charger at home.

  I got this answer from Enode:
  “This is expected behavior with BYD vehicles at the moment. BYD cars wake up when we poll them for data, which can cause some battery drain when the vehicle is parked.
  
  We're aware of this tradeoff and have created a feature request to implement slower polling when the vehicle is detected as parked. Your suggestions for a pause option or configurable polling intervals are good ideas that we're tracking.
  
  Unfortunately, there's currently no way to adjust polling frequency on a per-user basis.”
