Bug report form requests inaccessible data

This bug report form has a field for the app version number “found at the bottom of the settings menu”. On iOS at least, the form is shown in an embedded browser, meaning the only way to access that menu is by discarding the bug report I just typed up and going back to see it. Would it be that hard to stick the app version number in a query parameter or something?
