Electrify America - Congestion Reduction Pilot

Bedford, PA - Sheetz routing issues

ABRP shows that my car needs to charge to 96% to complete my plan trip. However, EA has limited this particular station to 85% because of its “Congestion Reduction Pilot” program. Why doesn’t ABRP take this into consideration in route planning?

    Just ran into this on a trip yesterday. Is there any update on if this feature can be added?

    Thanks for the heads-up! You are right, we have not implemented this yet as it requires some changes in our system. In the meantime, you can always limit your “max charging SoC” in the ABRP settings.

    Hi,

    We’re currently not able to receive live status information and other more specific data about Electrify America chargers such as this one

    Networks can implement reduction programs as they wish without considering that some of their users might use apps other than their own.

    I’ve found the information page about the pilot and we’ll see if there’s a fix for this.
