Battery Preconditioning
As when following a plan ABRP knows when you will reach the next charge station. Preconditioning the battery can dramatically cut the charge time. My suggestion is for ABRP to notify the driver both audibly and visually a set time before arriving at the charge station to start preconditioning. Seems like you have all the information needed to do that. Almost as good as having ABRP command the car to do so but a lot easier to implement.

Bumping this. I have a 26 EV9 and only the internal nav can activate preconditioning, but I can also do it myself with the touch of a button. Living in the cold midwest, knowing when to start preconditioning would be essential to optimized charging.

Battery Preconditioning
For long-distance journeys, it is necessary to charge electric vehicles at fast charging stations. The battery should be preconditioned beforehand. Currently, preconditioning for Renault E-Tech vehicles (e.g. R5 E-Tech) is only possible with Google Maps. However, I would prefer to use ABRP instead of Google Maps. It would therefore be great if ABRP could also start the preconditioning process.

On Ford Mustang Mach-E, Google Maps now correctly identifies the destination type as a DC charger so that the car automatically preconditions on approch. If ABRP could implement the same feature, I would use it as my default sat nav option.

Absolutely necessary. Would make ABRP my default GPS and only using my car (bad) GPS when I would need to select the charger to start precondionning
