Battery Capacity of KIA EV5 too big

Kia frequently specifies and advertises the gross (total nominal) battery capacity for its EV models (e.g., 81.4 kWh for the EV5 Long Range), whereas industry standard comparison platforms and competing OEMs (such as Ford, VW, and Skoda) report the net (usable) battery capacity. Comparing Kia's gross figures directly against competitors' net figures results in misleading benchmarking and inaccurate range estimations.
