Battery capacity - is this actual data?

BMW i5. In the “live data” accessed through OBDLE, there is a line “battery capacity.” Is this data reported from the vehicle, or is it an assumed/calculated value based on initial vehicle battery specification * assumed degradation?

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    It’s reported from your car and under the number you can see if it’s from Android auto or the OBD.
