Battery adjustment disappears

Normally the display on the telephone (when connected to CarPlay) that shows the current status and information about the next stop has a bar with +/- where I can adjust the current value of the battery.

However, sometimes on a route, this bar is hidden by another battery status bar without the two buttons. Then sometimes the other bar flashes in for 1-2 seconds. And at least once, at some point the bar with the buttons is back after some hours of driving.

Happens with iPhone and CarPlay. Car is Mach-E GT.
