Avoids highway 395 in central california
Hi, for a couple years now the map thinks the 395 south of lone pine by the lake is closed but it's not. The problem is it always wants to take a huge way around adding 100 miles to the trip and charging estimates are wrong.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

PinnedHERE replied to my report on this. Their cartographers would have the closure corrected, and I can see that we route correctly in ABRP now.

These linked plans appear to be using ‘my position’ and ‘home’ meaning I’m not able to view them. Could you produce a link without saved destinations or ‘my position’ as waypoints?

PinnedThanks for the reminder. I just checked again, and I was about to say that I’m not getting the same result as you, both with and without traffic data.
But - it appears that sometimes when this route is generated for the southern direction using live traffic data, we avoid this particular part of the road.
Generates fine with traffic data turned on sometimes:
At other times, we do not deem the section drivable.
Using some guidepoints, the problematic part appears to be the section close to ‘North Haiwee Reservoir’.
More specifically it looks like the on-ramp joining ‘US 395 Olancha Cartago 4 Lane Project’ with ‘Grand Army of the Republic Highway’ isn’t connected / is broken, as well as a part of the 395 forcing us to exit early.

Looking at the routing generated by our data source for live traffic, ‘HERE’, they deem this part of the road not drivable.

There’s, unfortunately, no quick solution. As a workaround, you can disable live traffic.

Exactly why this plan is generated correctly, making use of the newly constructed road section, remains unclear, however.
