Car still gets stuck at irrelevant locations

This problem still persists. Although the gps connection does not get interrupted, car gets stuck at a location on the route, and I couldn’t recover the car’s location even after a few days. It’s still stuck at a nearby location if you check my account.

Where does this happen?

    Hi @Osman Efe Moral,

You have two vehicles on your account. Please clarify which one this concerns.

Currently I only use Opel Corsa e. Yesterday evening the car moved once. But remained in the location parked last night during our trips today.

Ok, and you’re using the app with CarPlay is that correct? So we can rule out data from Android Auto yes?

May I suggest the following to troubleshoot:

        1. Create a new saved vehicle for your Opel Corsa-e

        2. Do not link it via OBD or any other live data source

        3. Test drive and tell me if you’re still experiencing the same behavior

Yes android auto or any other data collection are not present. Only OBD. I will try your recommendation today biut as I meant IP’nde before the problem persists for a few days then it works for a trip then the car gets stuck at a random location again. I tried to run AbRP on iPhone before entering the vehicle, I tried to initiate it on CarPlay. Nothing made a difference. Just letting you know.

I made two short trips. The first with the newly created car (Corsa e 48 KWh) and the second with the connected previously registered car (Corsa e). The new car registered the distance. And now visible with the correct name on the map. However the old car failed to register the route on the same distance covered. But visible at the correct location right now (It was at the same location prior to the trip). FYI I use one of your recommended OBD dongles and experienced only temporary connection problem. During the above trips, the old car was connected all the time.

Just as an FYI, a similar behavior is happening on version 7.1.5 (5966).
