App resets to automatic settings when connected to OBD
I turn the automatic settings off to turn on individual settings on to prevent battery degradation default of 5%. But when the iPhone connects to the OBD, the automatic settings turn on automatically. I want to keep my settings while driving naturally.

Thank you for reporting! As far as I can tell, we don’t have a SoH estimate on your vehicle. So what happens is that it gets reset to automatic and that defaults to 5% for your vehicle (given that we don’t know it)?

On the live data page battery health reads as 100%. Since the car is new I assumed there’s a calculation behind it. On the other hand not only degradation resets but all settings reset to automatic. That is no problem but battery degradation is a problem since it directly affects range and charge planning.

We have now fixed this issue and it will be released as ABRP 6.0 beta this week and (hopefully) as production ABRP 6.0 next week.

It has not been resolved in 6.0.0. It still resets to automatic settings when connected to the car. The only thing you changed is it is now impossible to turn on automatic settings when it is turned off and one parameter is set manually

This has been fixed and is part of ABRP 6.0.0. If there is no calibrated SoH we will not change the value.

No it has not been. Although the car reports it as 0%, every time I connect my phone to the car the app reverts back to automatic settings still and degradation is 5%. Even turning automatic settings off and manually entering 0% does not resolves the problem.

I checked your vehicle data and it does not report SoH (nor capacity), and we also don’t have the data to compute it.
I will double check in a test vehicle if we can reproduce this when connecting with OBD.

It does not show it when not connected. But when I am connected to the car in the live data section I can see the SoH. I can send a screenshot if you like. Nevertheless, I don’t want it to give me the actual data. I just don’t want it to reset back to automatic settings each time I connect or do not change my manual entry when it is connected by resetting to automatic settings.

I take that back, it seems like we have a bug which does not report SoH (degradation) properly to our backend for logging. We will look into that and also if we can reproduce your issue.

We found the issue (hopefully last time :) ) - it seems like specifically >= 100% SoH created an issue. We will release an update this week with ABRP 6.0.1.
