App keeps crashing/stops working on Android Auto

For some reason the app keeps crashing on Android Auto. A fair bit when connected wired, constantly (won't run at all) if it's wireless and charging, but only a few times when wireless and not charging. Which is frustrating as I want my phone connected wired on longer drives. And it always crashes after start-up, sometimes once, sometimes multiple times.

Even when I get it working fine, I'll reach my charging stop, then upon leaving my car will start up, reconnect and the app crashes.. Every single time.

At one point it refused to work no matter what I did, so I had to put my next charging stops into google maps and use that instead.

When it works, the app is great. It's just the getting it to work that's annoying. Especially when you think it now works, you set off, and after 5min you realise that it has frozen again and have to pull over to fix it.. again.

On the phone, the app works just fine.

My phone is a Redmagic 11 pro.

Car is a Škoda Enyaq.
