App doesn’t want to continue route after arriving at a charging stop

Upon successful arrival of a charging stop (app announces “you have arrived…”,) and charging completed, the nav function of the app wants to return to the charging stop where we are. It issues guidance to the current location, and upon driving away from said charging station, it insists on making a u-turn and returning to the charging station, even though the charge is complete. Even after tapping “Back” several times and re-planning the route, it still insists on going back to where we just were without continuing towards final entered destination. The only way we can get it to do so is by killing the app on the phone, re-opening it and using recent searches (or re-entering destination from scratch) to recalculate/plan the route anew. Very frustrating.

    Same things occurs for with an ODB2 connection (CX). The app doesn’t recognize when I am ready to restart my route or have any way for me to let it know. I end up have to replan the trip all the time.

    Just to clarify: You are driving without live data connected to your car? Or did it not work at that time while driving?
    We are going to add a “I’m done charging” button in the UI so that you can manually tell the app that you have actually successfully charged.

      Yes, to clarify:

      I DO have live data connection to the car via CarPlay.

      When I arrive at a charging stop, the voice guidance says “you have arrived,” and I charge up. Once getting back under way, it wants to guide me right back to that same stop/waypoint and the ONLY way I have found to get it to continue the journey is to pull out the phone (distracting and potentially dangerous while driving) and pull up the active app list, then kill the ABRP app; restart the app again and then re-search, select from recent searches, and then have it re-plan the route from the current location.

      It just did this to me a few minutes ago and I ended up driving miles past the exit of my destination simply because the app wasn’t working. Ultimately, I pulled out my phone while on the highway and killed/restarted the app, which then - likely because I was moving at 65 MPH - it took several minutes for the app to fully re-sync my current location and recalculate, giving me erratic guidance (broken/start-stop/partial voice guidance)and notifications while it figured it out.

      While I really like ABRP, when this happens (every single charging stop) I really do NOT want to use it anymore.

      An “I’m done charging, continue” button would be a greatly appreciated and welcomed addition - as long as it triggers the code to move the guidance to the next waypoint.
