App crashing when looking for ODBlink CX
Hello, trying to link my obd link CX with the ABRP app. When I click connect and then the understand button, the app freezes as it tries to connect to the obd link. It is completely unresponsive. I have to quit the app and reset it before I can use it again.
I am still unable to link the app to the obdlink, even after trying a second brand new obdlink sent to me by the manufacturer.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

PinnedFixed with 6.1.7 (3607). Please test it and let us know if it works for you too. This is a hotfix and should be applied when you restart the app. Check at bottom of settings, that the right version is shown before testing.

Thanks for reporting! What model of iPhone do you use, and what iOS version?
Does it freeze also when you don’t have the OBD adapter connected (i.e. no adapter will be found when scanning)?

Hello, iPhone 13mini on iOS 26. And yes the freeze happens in the app even when not connected or even when not in the car.

Hey, I just tried it again with a fresh install, and I can actually see some kind of freeze, but no app crash, so not sure if it is the same issue as you reported. Will look into it an provide a fix.

Hello. Yes I agree it’s an app freeze which is unrecoverable without restarting the app. So not technically a crash

Please check the other post i added in the issue. It is fixed with 6.1.7 (3607)
