App crashes with carplay
I’m going from NC to CA and everything’s working fine till I get to TX and now ABRP crashes when it connects to my vehicle. I tried closing and opening, power cycling the phone and vehicle, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, reading the CarPlay function, and using wired and wireless. If I hadn’t paid for premium I could at least use the app while listening to music, but since it’s tied to CarPlay I have to disconnect the phone completely from the vehicle in order to see where I’m going.

Do you mean that CarPlay crashed at a specific point in the routing/plan? Does this happen repeatedly, or did it only happen one time?

It happens almost every time if not every time. Basically if i’m in the plan enough to where it’s giving me local directions and i walk away from the car, thereby disconnecting the carplay, when i enter the car again the app will crash whenever its connected to carplay thereafter. I figured out a fix, basically to back out until it shows the total plan, then carplay will connect, then I can go back to the local directions level. Sorry I don’t know better terms for the levels of detail.

When you say “back out until it shows the total plan” do you mean to exit navigation mode and go back to planning mode or to zoom out so that you visually see the entire plan?
