App crashes on Google Built in platform
2024 Cadillac Lyriq
Running the native Google Built In, not Android Auto.
ABRP app on gbi crashes when the vehicle is turned off, and has to enabled every time from the gbi play store when restarting the car.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

Performance impacting app?
Android auto on my 2024 Honda Prologue is reporting ABRP as a performance impacting app. The Prologue is at the latest code available and is running Android 14.
This has happened at the end of 2 of 2 trips I have taken with ABRP so far.
I have to go into the Apps settings and reenable ABRP to see it again as an available app.
It seems I can go in and ‘prioritize’ the app but there are warnings about doing that (Pls see attached images).
Is it safe to prioritize ABRP and why is this happening?
Thanks

Thanks for reporting! Just to clarify - this is when running ABRP in the infotainment system of the vehicle, correct? (Not just connecting your phone to use the car screen?)

Hi Bo,
That is correct. ABRP is running on the car's android system.

BTW, this sounds very much like the issue reported in “App crashes on Google Built in platform” for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. They’re basically the same car/infotainment systems.
Thanks

I add your post to that issue.

Thanks for reporting! Can you send us a photo of the screen when it says it has crashed? Is there a message from the infotainment system?

It doesn't crash per semester, but next time you turn on the car, you have to into the Google play store and enable the app, every time.
Attached is the version number.
