Android "back" gesture

I haven’t been able to find posts regarding this so:

Android introduced the “Back” gesture with Android 9 in 2018. I’ve been using it since it’s introduction. As a new Tesla owner (and longtime fan of ABRP), now that I mostly use it on my phone, I’ve sadly discovered the back gesture is not supported. To those who know, this is a disaster with ABRP on Android.

The back gesture is habitually ingrained now, and it’s a major struggle to avoid it. It not only doesn’t go “back” but very frequently dishes me out of my current route, and returning to it forces a full-on recalculation of the route.

This not only wastes my time, but worse, introduces unnecessary load on the ABRP servers! There is NO WAY I’m the only one this is happening to. Can the ABRP team please start supporting this 6 year old Android base-level feature? I do hate to ask more of the team, but this is such a fundamental issue 🤷🏼‍♂️

      Sorry don't mean to demand, but the rest of the app ux is excellent, so it is quite jarring when an os-level feature like this doesn't work as expected

    Thanks for reporting! We acknowledge that clicking a charger in the itinerary and then going back does the wrong thing - we will fix. Any other places where it does not work as you would expect?

      I'n the Android version, any time I use the side-swipe “back” gesture in the route creation mode, or while viewing routes, the gesture basically unloads the route.

      The gesture in a map with a “null” route sets the pin to the swipe origin.

    Yes, it’s very hard not to use the back gesture while examining a charging stop.

    First back gesture will return to calculate route, and second back gesture in a row will clear all the waypoints, so this can be very annoying. And it’s very easy to do them back to back, as the first back gesture doesn’t do anything visible.
