I haven’t been able to find posts regarding this so:
Android introduced the “Back” gesture with Android 9 in 2018. I’ve been using it since it’s introduction. As a new Tesla owner (and longtime fan of ABRP), now that I mostly use it on my phone, I’ve sadly discovered the back gesture is not supported. To those who know, this is a disaster with ABRP on Android.
The back gesture is habitually ingrained now, and it’s a major struggle to avoid it. It not only doesn’t go “back” but very frequently dishes me out of my current route, and returning to it forces a full-on recalculation of the route.
This not only wastes my time, but worse, introduces unnecessary load on the ABRP servers! There is NO WAY I’m the only one this is happening to. Can the ABRP team please start supporting this 6 year old Android base-level feature? I do hate to ask more of the team, but this is such a fundamental issue 🤷🏼♂️
