Android Auto: Use factory nav to pre-condition simultaneously

On some vehicles, such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, battery preconditioning is only possible by using the factory navigation and selecting a DC charger as the destination. When the vehicle head unit informs ABRP that it has begun navigation using its factory-installed maps ABRP clears its current route and stops navigating.

This creates an annoyance where the user either must abandon the possibility to pre-condition or lose ABRP navigation while approaching a charger and must restart navigation upon arrival.

It appears this behavior is informed by the Android Auto API [1], but it would be useful to have an advanced/expert option to tell ABRP to ignore navigation events from the head unit and continue navigating, specifically to continue the collection of data from the OBD dongle.

    This is a huge pain point for me on my EV6. Particularly during the winter when preconditioning is absolutely necessary for any reasonable charging speeds.

    Just being able to run both navs simultaneously would be enough to make it so much less painful considering how bad the on-board nav is.
