Android auto switching to Phone

I purchased premium abrp so I could use live data from my Opel grandland electric and the navigation via Android auto.

The live data works and abrp shows via Android auto. Unfortunately, when effectively starting a route, Android auto shuts down and the navigation starts on my phone. Then after a few seconds Android auto starts up again, followed by shutting down again. Thus goes on, untill I cancell the routeplanner on my phone. Please advice.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi, is it ABRP that disappears but Android Auto still visible on the car display or is Android Auto itself disappearing and the car display bringing you back to the Opel interface?

    We had quite a few issues already on Stellantis cars that Android Auto itself crashes, your issue sounds a lot like that one too.

    The only fix we are aware of is a software update for the car though.

    It seems like Android Auto crashes for some reason on your phone. Which phone model and Android version are you using?
