Android Auto rendering lags behind

Using ABRP with Android auto on a 2021 Skoda Enyaq running software version 3.8 (latest).

The entire ABRP app on the car’s screen lag a good 10 seconds on all updates and interactions. The car’s location seem 10 seconds behind, rendering the navigation pretty much useless. When tapping buttons it also takes in excess of 10 seconds for the app to respond.

Running ABRP on the phone works flawlessly with up-to-date GPS location.

Using other apps via Android Auto, e.g. Google Maps, also works flawlessly.
