ABRP subscription: currently the free version (previously Premium)
Issue description: After a few hours of active use of ABRP via Wireless Android Auto, the Pixel 9 Pro becomes noticeably hot. As a result, the map display transmitted by ABRP to Android Auto becomes increasingly slow and sluggish—map movements, zooming, and position updates experience significant delays. At a certain point, meaningful navigation via the Android Auto display becomes practically impossible.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch the ABRP app on the Pixel 9 Pro and connect it to the vehicle via wireless Android Auto.
Launch navigation/map view via ABRP in Android Auto.
Drive for several hours at a time or actively use the app (route running continuously).
Notice that the phone gets noticeably hot.
Notice that the map display in Android Auto becomes increasingly choppy, responds with delays, or freezes completely.
Expected behavior: The map display should remain smooth throughout the entire duration of the trip, regardless of how long it is used, without thermal throttling or a drop in performance—similar to how Google Maps behaves on the same device via the same wireless Android Auto connection.
Actual behavior: After a few hours, the device becomes hot, map performance in Android Auto noticeably deteriorates, and navigation becomes unusable. Other apps (e.g., Google Maps) do not exhibit this behavior to the same extent on the same device via the same wireless connection.
Impact on usage: Due to this recurring issue, the Premium subscription (with Android Auto support) was canceled. The app is currently used only for route planning; actual navigation is handled entirely through Google Maps.
