Android auto HUD

Feature Requests

Please allow support for turn by turn navigation so that I can get the information for car hud. Also in normal android operation (not in android auto mode). Im using android auto protocol but still normal android without the limitations of android auto ui.

    Hi @Toni,

    We can only send navigation instructions to the HUD when Android Auto is connected and running. There are no other ways to send the data to the HUD. So the navigation needs to be active in Android Auto to make it work.

      But you dont have that feature yet or do you? Of course Android Auto is connected. I just dont know if there is a difference regarding abrp if on car display you see android auto interface or normal android interface. Only thing needed would be that abrp gives the information out of the app. I can ask the specifics and get back to you. In Korea they have some local navigation software that is able to send to the hud.

        We have full HUD support on AA and Automotive. So if the car supports it, it should show up. However some cars just don’t support it.

    Hi Does the ABRP work with hyundai HUD?

    I purchased this under the impression that it worked?

    Its ios 18.3.2 and ABRP version is 5.7.3

    You submitted a feature request about an issue. Please clarify;

    • Platform (iOS, Android etc.)

    • App version (found at the bottom of the settings menu)
