Thanks for reporting! We have seen this on an internal vehicle too and we are not sure where it comes from - likely an update of Android Auto (the underlying Google app) or the car. Let us know if there is anything you can do to improve or reproduce this. Does it happen on any other apps?

Does not happen with other apps (in particular, Google Maps). Considering a connectivity issue, alternatively tried with USB connection, and via Bluetooth with the phone placed right beneath the windscreen for better LTE connection. Made all no difference.
