I have live data, been a free/paid customer for several years. My car said I’d be -16% to make a recommended trip (from 100% SOC) and ABRP said 8%. So I started digging while wife drives. My first drive / charge yesterday ABRP vs TeslaFI and Tesla Supercharger Invoice comparison:
| Item | ABRP | TeslaFi | Tesla Invoice |
| Drive Distance | 132 mi | 132.29 mi | N/A |
| Drive watt/mi | 425 | 390 | N/A |
| Charge kWh | +57kWh | Used: 49.3, Added: 46.82 | 49.2913 kWh |
NOTE: ABRP says battery capacity is 61 kWh (2024 Y Performance) - I mention this because I arrived at the charger at 7% and left at 80% - Which if 61 kWh then 44.53 kWh would have been charged - not far off from TeslaFi and Tesla invoice totals but nowhere near the 57kWh ABRP claims I charged.
How are these numbers so wrong with live data? Trip planning isn’t working at all given the numbers are not real so have to just plan in the car (which isn’t ideal since on a road trip with a R1T and trying to plan what chargers we intersect at).
I used ABRP website to get these numbers and both web and iOS app for plan.
