Aggressive rerouting

When planning roadtrips, often a planned route will have several alternate routes, however selecting one selects all the alternates not just the one specific deviation I want. Setting a point on a preferred route to force that route, dropped the alternate route from the plan entirely, meaning rather than setting my preferred quickly using the suggested plan, I had to fight the plan and micromanage my route setting far more points than I'd wish.
