While you can temporarily zoom out the map (to get more overview of cities etc.), it automatically switches back to a rather zoomed in mode. Why can’t the chose zoom level not be held?
This feature (stay at a defined zoom level, like touching on a ‘+‘ or ‘-‘) would be also very useful to be able to see arounding charging stations during a trip, for example to avoid overloaded charging points on highways. Using the pre-defined views “destination” or “next waypoint” is not always appropriate. I would appreciate this feature!

The map is far too zoomed in to be useful. It needs to be either much more zoomed out or at least not switch back to zoomed-in after manually changing the zoom.
I missed a turn because I didn’t have enough context and was in the wrong lane.

I second this, I do have a feeling that this can also be caused by your screen size as well. My Kia has a widescreen so it might be that the weird resolution does something to the scaling.
This looks to be partially the same feedback as I have.
Currently it is making me reconsider ABRP to be my daily driver and thus cancelling my subscription. The map is just way too zoomed in.

The ability to set the zoom to suit my needs at the moment would be very welcome. It’s fairly often that I’d like to set the zoom to a different level than ABRP’s default (often to be able to see more context as I’m approaching a turn or a destination). It is very frustrating to have ABRP decide that I’m at the wrong zoom and switch back.
The behavior that I’d like is:
An easy way to adjust the zoom (ideally there would be a “preset” button that is either on the screen all of the time or that appears when the screen is touched that zooms to the user’s preferred (or last) zoom setting or, if zoomed, toggles back to the ABRP default).
Zoom stays set where I have set it.
If ABRP “thinks” I need a different zoom level while maneuvering, it should go to that zoom level, and then revert back to the level I selected after the turn. It would be nice if there was a way to suppress that behavior.

Id prefer to have a lower zoom level on highways so keep situational and geographic awareness.
The way it’s done at the moment makes it hard for me to even know where in the country I am without interfering with the app via CarPlay.
