Address book please

Feature Requests

It would be great if in a future version you could create an address book feature so I can choose frequent destinations instead of having to enter them manually each time. I know when I enter an address I have used frequently it will appear in the suggestions, but only if I remember the address and start entering it. It would be nice to able to choose it from a personal custom list.

    It’s already possible to save destinations.

    Please go ‘Edit’ here.

    Then you can save your destinations here and they will be showed under the ‘Where do you want to go’ search bar.

      What would be really useful is the ability to grant ABRP the right to “see” my Contacts so that I can search destinations in my contacts. That would allow me to easily navigate to a friend’s house without having to look up the address and then save it in ABRP (and then have to maintain it in ABRP as the friend moves & changes jobs…). Also ABRP’s list of saved locations isn’t well suited to storing 100s of addresses. At the very least it would be nice if this is going to be the solution in ABRP to support importing an exported Contacts archive (for macOS / iOS) or the equivalents for Android other platforms (and also deleting / overwriting so that updates can easily be done). Then we could at least take advantage of ABRP prioritizing results from the saved destinations list.
